Mac user with sandisk cruzer, no room & no way to format.

My sandisk 2.0 GB titanium cruzer has very little space left on it, even though I have deleted almost everything from it. I can't format it so now it's a keychain. I'm on tiger still. WTF?

I have a similar issue with an 8GB Cruzer. I'm looking all over the web for help..."How to format a USB on my Mac?''  You'd think somebody had a 1..2..3 posted somewhere.

My sandisk cruzer contour 8gb has some how partitioned itself. So when I plug it into the computer it comes up as two identical devices in drive E, & F. Then instead of having 8gb of free space it says I have a max capacity of 63.7mb. I've tried formatting but I doesn't revert back to the actual 8gb format. Any ideas???

You guys have to empty the trash can or

1. open applications
2. open utilities
3. click on disk utility
4. locate the drive, left hand side
5. select the drive
6. click on erase
7. select file system, either MS-DOS or Mac OS extended.

have fun =D.

Drivers for sansa c250

You can't plug the same mp3 player into a MAC and a PC - one erases the formatting of the other. Run the Sansa Recovery Tool for the c200 series - it is available from the Sandisk website. Also, here is a link to the full user manual:

May be the USB drive is damged. Try connecting it to another machine. If it works then plug it in to the same port as you have installed it.
