Lights flashin on remote but wont go to one player

Hi there,
here are a few steps you can try to fix this.
1: turn off your wii console and unplug from the wall outlet for about 5 seconds and then plug in again.
2: turn on your console, and when you see the health and safty screen on the telly, open the flap on the front of the console and you should see a red button with the word "sync" written on it. Press this button and hold for at least 15 seconds, once done this should have cleared all previos sync's that have been carried out basically allowing you start from scratch again.
3:Now with the remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover, and you should see a small red button below the batteries. Press and release this button and you should see the lights flash on the remote. Now this is important! Quickly press the red sync button on the front of the console and release again. Now you should see the player LED stop blinking and your sync is complete.
4: For any aditional remotes you want to conect just repeat the steps in number 3: and you should be good to go.
