If you are again driver installation then first you check it driver backup available or not. If available then ok or it not then you download first then re-installed it. Or if you are now printer add then old driver uninstalled and new printer installed it. I share a link please visit and follow step by step instruction.
A> If you are uninstalled process then go to control panel and select add removed programs and search printer driver name and select and removed it.
B> Installation Process- first old driver uninstalled and new driver setup double click and follow instruction and full installed it.
Please Follow these steps to remove previous printer software and drivers, and then download the latest HP software and driver.
Step one: Remove the previous printer software installation
Before you install the new software, first remove the previous printer software to make sure that you have only the latest software installed on your computer.

Double-click the Macintosh HD icon from the desktop.

Empty the Trash .

Go to your device manager and go to the printers and remove it from there if you still believe there are others drivers go to add/remove programs and do a search for printers or print drivers there and remove. Restart the computer double check to ensure items are gone and out of your recycling bin - load and install new software.

if it does not fix your problem I strongly suggest you uninstall the hp printer software from your computer and reinstall it.if you still have the cd installer,insert it in the cd drive and select uninstall.if you do not have the disk uninstall it using add/remove (win xp) features or programs and features (for vista or win 7).make sure to uninstall all hp programs associated with your officejet 6210 (driver series,hp customer participation program,imaging device functions,shop for hp supplies,hp yahoo toolbar,hp image zone.hp memories disc,hp update,hp smart web printing,hp photosmart essentials).
NOTE:uninstall programs enumerated above only when you have that printer installed on your pc because uninstalling them may affect the functionalities of other printers installed on your computer.

this could be due to corrupt HP Advisor files on the PC. If you are using Windows Vista, then perform the following steps.

then Check by connecting the USB Cable to the Computer without installing the drivers
IF its NOT SHOWING " Found New Hardware Message " - then Please make sure the Printer is on / check replacing the USB Cable - the install the Drivers
