How To Reset Your iPhone 4

Soft Reset

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider.
  3. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until the Apple logo appears.
Hard Reset
This will delete all data off the phone. If you have your iPhone backed up on your computer through iTunes, etc., you can perform a Restore using your computer to get your data back.
  1. Press and hold the Home button below the screen and the Sleep/Wake button on top of the iPhone simultaneously.
  2. Continue holding both buttons, ignoring "Slide to power off", until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.
  3. You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo.

If this does not solve the issue the sensor is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Seems like your iPod has frozen.

The 8GB ipod is disabled saying that I should connect to the itunes, but after connecting to the itunes the itunes could not detect the device. how can I go about it to get it enabled
