Camera won't turn on! (by 3 users)

I have the vivitar dvr 550. It has been a great camera for the past year. Yesterday we took it to the zoo and used it most of the day. Now it won't charge up or turn on. It's just black! I have many pics and videos I wanted to download on there! Help!

same problem after a year and 1/2 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopeing its only a battery problem~
