Question about GE 74801 Clock Radio
Push the SET WAKE/TIME button on the far right of all the buttons - it's the button closest to the CD player. Push it until the 1 or 2 show up on the display - whichever one you want to use. The push the CD player's forward button - the one with the two right-facing arrows - until the time you want to wake up shows up in the display. That's it. To turn the alarm off, push the WAKE CANCEL button, below the set wake/time button, the push the 1 or 2 button, depending on which alarm you want to turn off. The display will show OFF in the alarm you chose.

I don't remember what the button is called, but the one to the right of the 2. Push that, then the 1 or 2 for which alarm you want to turn off.

IF you cannot get the alarm clock to turn off..... Don't fret. I have yet to find a manual for the GE7-4901A unit. This is what I did to finally shut the alarm offI took a 8lb hammer and whacked the living snot out of it, and went and bought a new clock that was easier to figure out.

press the Cancel button located on the top of the alarm clock (the light next to the wake mode indicator on the front of the clock should start flashing). Then press the WAKE Mode button on the top of the device. The wake mode indicator on the front should now be off and the alarm deactivated.
To turn the alarm back on, simply press the WAKE Mode button on the top of the device.

you probably have it on "wake up cd track", in the front, press the wake 1, or wake 2 button (depending on what the alarm is set on) until the little bell is on the side, that should make it ring, louder and louder :)
