Hi Brittney, are you able to open windows to your desktop? If your pc is coming up with a box asking for drivers then tick the allow web access to look for drivers then continue through. If this doesn't work, if you go into the control panel, then into device manager, you can look down the list of hardware on your computer, the one for graphics card will most likely have a yellow exclamation mark on it. Right click and select update drivers. If you know the manufacturer and model of the graphics adapter then you can go to their website to download the latest drivers. Hope this helps.
Dell Dimension 4550 Drivers From the above link you can download the required drivers. There are two drivers available for Broadcom and Intel. I suggested try the Intel Drivers (as your system may be having the Intel based Ethernet) To PCI communication Controller (Modem) you have to install the Modem Drivers Trt Eicon (recommended) Or broadcom conaxant etc
would suggest, personally, to download that driver [File Version: 6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101.2205) file, and use that file to overwrite the driver on your system, seeing as my drive functions. The file source can be located at: C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/cdrom.sys
That is what I'm showing as the latest driver at the moment. Hopefully that will be of some help.
you can not get back your drivers from windows if you are using a high computer system, i suggest you contact your hardware vendor for the latest driver. but if your computer is low you can repost your problem
From the microsoft support page, it suggests to uninstall the driver and and click on scan for hardware changes to re-install or upgrade the driver. Here is the page: Code 37
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
The driver returned failure from its DriverEntry routine. Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
