That was awfully nice of your cousin!! If the keys and retainers are in good shape and not broken, you can fix it yourself.You will need to separate the retainers from the keys, if they are still attached. Then set the retainer in place on the board, make sure the rubber depressor is in the proper place, if removable. Then the key will snap onto the retainer. Position the key on the retainer and press until it snaps in. If you're unsure as to how the retainer goes on the board, take another key off, to see how it fits. Be gentle and remove the key only, leaving the retainer on the board. If any of the keys or retainers are damaged or you don.t feel comfortable fixing this yourself, then I recommend that you find a small computer shop in your area. I don't recommend Bestbuy, they are overpriced and it may take them a week or better to fix it. A small shop will treat you better, have fixed in a few minutes (if they don't have to order parts), and have a much better price.
