As this TV is only 6 weeks old, I called Best Buy and they are sending out a repairman to repair it in my home under the warranty. Hopefully they will fix it.

Well a couple of things ,try a generic remote (usually every household has one) see if problem corrects itself if not You have an IR sensor bad on the fronnt of your tv. If it fixes it than you have a bad remote, my guess would be the remote

The easiest way just call up the Insignia Corporation trade it in for some money value for the next new tv u buy from them.Or take the tv aparts,pieces by pieces to sell it on Ebay.com for as salvages tv PCB boards for another tvs that the people looking for refubishes PCB boards parts to repair their tvs.

check to make sure tv audio is not set on SAP in sound menu. Also check source (cable box, satellite, etc...)

My Insignia LS LCDTV32 32 inch TV just randomly lost sound today. Picture is fine. It's not on mute.


From what I've read is, you need to reset the input source to fix this.

My 32" Insignia TV indicates power on (Insignia logo turns blue), but no power reaches the screen -- i.e, no picture or sound at all.


This television, appears to have had a failure in the mainboard. This is the board that controls the video functions and sound functions. The unit should be taken or sent in to a service center for testing and servicing. The service center will have all the correct service information to determine the problem for you. You can call Insignia customer support at this telephone number 1-877-467-4289. You can also got to the customer support website at www.insignia-products.com. Go to the support section and ask them for help on how to get service for your television. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
