Date and time printed on pics

I have a Fuji FinePix F470 (it was not on the valid product list, but I'm hoping you'll know) and although the date and time appear on the camera screen, when I go to get the pics developed it does not appear on the pics. I want it to appear and no one has been able to tell me how to get this option.
I've tried looking in the manual but cannot find anything. Please help!

it's the people who develop the photos, you have to ask
