Every fault code I have found for GE model ranges says this fault code is an oven sensor error. The oven sensor is a small probe that sticks out from the oven wall (usually along the back or side somewhere). This probe varies in resistance as the oven heats and sends a signal to the control board. If the probe is defective, or if you have a broken wire, you will get this fault code. The following link explains how to troubleshoot and/or replace an oven probe:

I hope this is a simple fix for you. The repair is simple if you follow the instructions. If you require assistance locating any replacement parts, please post back with your complete model number. I hope this helps you.

F3 code

It's your oven temperature sensor. It's a thin metal stick that juts into the oven. It is located on the upper right back wall of the oven cavity. Flip your breaker, slide out the oven. You install it from the back, very simple, two screws, i think. I'm a beginner at DIY and had no problem fixing it.
