Whenever i try to send a text message, a box pops up saying " Network Service Unavailable" but i can still call people with no problem ??

Hi,the message that pops up saying "Network Service Unavailable" might be from the message settings not correctly set and it is unable to send messages.

You can go to the message setting options on the cell phone to confirm if it is rightly set.

To be sure, you can also use the sim card on another phone to confirm, by using the a friends phone to send a message.

If the message settings are correctly placed, the problem might be from the sim card. You willneed to contact Sim service center for help to rectify the problem for the Sim card..

1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

My phone says limited service and i can't send text or calls.every time i send message it says unavailable service. When i try to call it says emergency call only... What should i do.. any suggestion...

Call your SERVICE PROVIDER
Ask them send you the GPRS settings again....Then when you receive them (you will receive them as text message) save them and run as defualt if you been asked...Then turn your mobile off for 3 minutes
Then turn it on ...it will work 100%

contact your network provider and ask them to send the internet setting for your mobile.they will send you.save those settings.after saving restart your phone and activate your internet now.
try to access the internet in your phone now.if still having the same problem then there must be problem in your mobile.try to format the phone.try to access the internet after re installing. this will definitely works. if still having the problem then you can contact your service dealer for this problem.

go to message setting, text message, text meassage center, then try changing to another center, ( i've got 3 dif centers to pic from but only the first one lets me send text messages)

Network settings
I have this problem on Telstra when I restart the F480T.

To fix in Australia on Telstra:
- Widget->Messages
- Settings->Text messages
- Text message centre settings
- Edit Text message centre 1
- Centre address = +6141706700

Save.

You can get the centre address from anybody on the same network as you.

Can't text with this cingular razr with a tmobile sim card
Your service center number may be wrong in the phone. Call T-Mobile and ask for the service center number. You should be able to find it in your text messaghing settings. If it is rong (since it varies between carriers) it will stop text messages from going out.
You may also want to try your sim in a tmobbile phone and see if you can send text. Might be a problem on the network, not just with your cingular phone.
