I have the same error that jnwebb reported: remove & check cardtidge in right stall. I did and now it says print cartridge in right stall not supported. I don't know what that means but when I take the cartridges out and put them back in I get the first error, and then the second over and over again.

I do not want to use color cartridge in my hp psc 2410 printer. But without installing this cartridge, the printer is not working

Inkjet printer require both cartridges to be installed and have ink to go online. There is no way to bypass this function. If the printer does not detect the cart when it tries to perform a head clean cycle you get the error you have displayed on the screen. All inkjet printers are like this not just HP.

Error message "Remove and check color cartridge"

There may be debris that is blocking the communication between the cartridge and the printer. Remove the cartridge and unplug the printer from the power supply. Take a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and wipe off the contacts on the cartridge as well as the contacts inside of the printer. Allow both to dry for a few minutes before plugging the printer back in and re-installing the cartridge. This should clear up any miscommunication between the two.

Follow the steps below to solve the problem.
