It's probably just frozen. Put olive oil on the inside and coat the bottom of the shaft too, with a solid tool (used a piece of copper pipe with a cutout for the bottom of the blade) work the shaft back and forth, as soon as you get some oil in there it should start to free up.

Sounds like something is stuck under the blade, are you lifting it out and cleaning it every time after use? Cooked bread gets stuck under the blade if not and will stop it moving freely.

How is it possible to bake a loaf without a blade inside it?

You can't. To do so would interfere with the cycle and spoil the bread. The blade reverses at the end of the mixing cycle for it to drop flat so it does not stick so far into the bread. If it doesn't, try soaking the blade in warm water for a while and work the blade hinge back and fore to clean, Cleaning this hinge properly needs patience. As for the "ugly end" as my kids call it, we give it to the dog if no one wants it. I've had two previously, ans they were the same.

Rotating Shaft of Hitachi HB 101 frozen and won't move blade.

It can't be repaired. If machine is under warranty try to get a new bread pan. If not, try calling manufacturer to see if you can buy a new one.

Loosening up kneading blade

Try some penatrating oil. It may be rusted a little. Then tap the center with a punch.
