Hey kayale,
If you are encountering problems with your camera within a week of purchasing it I would not suggest troubleshooting the camera I would exchange it for a new one through the retailer you purchased it from. Occasionally the manufacturer does produce a defective camera. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Set date and time imprint on all photos on Sony DSLR A200

Your camera won't deface your photos by scrawling a bunch of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Sony dslr a200 camera error

Couple of things to try: 1. If you've downloaded the pics from your memory card, format it in the camera. 2. Go into the menu and scroll to "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. 3. Remove the card and battery...press all the buttons..leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.
