Remove the sump hose from the outer drum and try to fish it out with a bent piece of wire. the sump hose is usually at the bottom of the drum and after taking it off will leave a hole big enough to remove the object

Overfilling loads can cause small objects like pins, coins, and small socks to get between the tub abd Basket of your washer.

The basket is held onto the rear half of the outer tub simply by the bolt to the main pulley.
Remove the bolt, remove the pulley, and the basket shaft should slip right out of the bearings of
the rear tub.

Simply shining a light around between the basket and outer tub should confirm that there is something in there, since you have access to do this with
the front tub removed. Go ahead, remove the pulley and bolt, and if
the basket comes out, then check everything out.

If it doesn't, don't try pounding it out; stop there and go to plan B, which is a new basket
and tub assembly.

I can hear a coin rattling under the drum of my duet front load washer. How can I remove it?

If I were you, I would leave it, and it should find it's way into the filter.
To try and remove it is quite an involved task.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Water leaking and loud noise and rattling on final spin cycle

Turn the drum by hand and if you hear any noises it is the rear bearing. If there is no noise then remove the front bottom panel and take out the coin trap on the pump and check those hoses.

My Whirlpool duet washer is not draining. I am

If you hear the pump running and not draining, then take the toe panel off. Should be 3 1/4" screws on bottom. Remove the "coin catch". It looks like a BIG screw and it's white. Turn counterclockwise. There may be a sock, change ect...clogging it up. Dump it out and run machine. Have towel or bucket ready when removing coin catch.

How to replace whirlpool washer Drum, baffle

Just order a new one from an online parts store and put it in.  The new ones dont screw from behind.  They just snap in. By the way, the rest of the baffles will break as well. So you may as well by a couple.  But there not cheap-You can order them through Sears and pay 23.95 each.

did you check for obstructions in the drain pump/ button trap??? if not remove the lower acess panel (3 screws across hte bottom of front panel) there you will see a lioarge turn screw remove it and you may find debris preventing free flow of drain water. BE AWARE THOUGH TERE WILL BE WATER BEHIND HTE BUTTON TRAP, HAVE A TOWELL/ GARBAGE BAG RADY TO CATCH WATER, AND UNPLUG UNIT LIVE WIRES!!!!!!
