My problem is that my printer is not printing using the Ethernet connection.
The printer is a Kyocera FS3800, it has no USB connection and that is why I have to use the Ethernet connection. Art

I have an iMac g5 and an eMachine. I have internet on the iMac and I need to get it to the Windows computer. I have TONS of cords and like 5 wifi roughters. I just need to know what to do inside...

just connect both computers to the same router/hub. if mac is working then windows should work as well. on a wired network in windows xp and beyond, there is no set-up required. if it is not working, then perhaps you using a crossover cable (meant to connect 2 computers directly) instead of a regular ethernet cable.

How do you hook up xbox 360 to cricket a600 broadban

Yes, but if you want to connect the X-box and computer directly you may need to get a crossover cable. Sorry, I can't say for sure on this as it depends on the network card in the PC.

You should have a box in the configuration dialog for the Cricket saying something like "Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection". Be sure this box is checked.

Cannot get the ethernet to work

The "cable unplugged" error points to an electromechanical problem. Something is broken.

The first thing to try would be to replace the ethernet cable (make sure it is wired straight through, since some hardware won't automatically configure for a crossover cable). If that doesn't work, test that the hub you are connecting to works by hooking it up at a friend's house. If the hub and cable are alright, it's possible that the jack on your network card is faulty.

Connect kyocera fs680 to laptop

it depends on what laptop you have. the fs680 only has a parallel connection so your laptop needs to have a parallel port or you need a usb to parallel converter.

Hooking up a printer

Hi Sissy,

When you say you tried a hub station, what exactly did you use and what did you do? According to the setup guide, this model have an ethernet connection. Does your printer have one?

Take a look at THIS doc especially section B: Ethernet (wired) network on page 9
