My computer is stuck on the gray screen with the apple logo and spinning wheel only, please help I've spent over 8 hours trying to fix this Thank you very much!

Tried to erase all data, iphone froze at the apple

Turn iphone off. Power on holding power and home at same time for 10 seconds, then release power button but hold home for another 30 seconds. Screen will stay blank but should be in DFU recovery mode. Plug into iTunes and recover.

Stuck on initial screen on power up

sounds like your hard drive died, you should take it into a repair shop unless you know someone that can replace the drive and re-install OS X for you. you computer uses a 2.5" laptop hard drive.

Itouch locked in recovery mode

same thing happened to me the software is probably corrupted go to the nearest apple store and they will replace it or fix it
