I regret to report that my Remington Dual Foil F3790 is the poorest electric shaver I've ever owned...!!! It's only 2 weeks from brand new yet - even after 15-20 minutes of very hard work...!!! - I simply cannot get it to shave off all my facial stubble ...!!!
What do I do...? I've discovered that my wife, who bought it for me, binned the packaging - though we do still have the receipt.

Try take it back to the dealer, they may have a record of the sale - and tell your wife to hide warranty papers in future, until the warranty has lapsed at least.

Scott, You might want to try a full-Web lookup on that part by means of the http://ixquick.com Privacy-Positive Meta-Search Engine to locate a replacement for that old switch since the Searspartsdirect.com operation no longer provides them. I caught a couple of mentions on eBay while looking-up the item myself a few moments ago; that venue seems likely from where I sit (with all the usual IFs and BUTs) applied.

You seem to have some skills - if eBay etc do not pasn out, a leetle creative thinking just might result in an acfeptably operabvle and entirely clever jerry-rig using any old intact power switch that might fall into hand from Heaven. the best solution would be to go on ebay. if you have the old charger search for the model number on it. if not just search the model of shaver and add the word charger to your search
those things are a waste of money you better off renting one. but the only thing i could think of is that something is stuck or your belt came off track
Wait the full 24 hours then try using the shaver. If it functions normally, then I would say only the charger light is not working. If the shaver runs down before the end of the 2nd shave, then you may have a defective charger and/or shaver. In that case, take it back where you bought it for a replacement.
