Don't have this model, but could there be a weight sensor for the ice tray that is stuck and possibly frozen in the up position? The weight sensor would normally sense when there is enough water in the ice tray and then cause the water to shut off. See whether the tray should have up and down vertical movement.

GE Ice Maker Auger Motor won't move with tray out

If the auger motor won't turn by hand, it's possible that it is frozen and needs to be removed and thawed out. You can try spraying it with cooking spray after it's dried out to help prevent future freezing. Before removing the auger motor, make sure to unplug the refrigerator and turn off the water supply to the ice maker. You may need to remove the ice bin and any surrounding parts to access the motor. Once you've removed the motor, you can thaw it out by leaving it at room temperature or using a hairdryer on a low heat setting. Be careful not to overheat the motor. After thawing, you can test the motor to see if it's working properly. If the motor still doesn't turn, it may need to be replaced.

ICE MAKER FREEZES UP

Your water valve is possibly defective. I have found that the valve will not completely close and a slow drip will overfill the ice maker causing this problem.

Ice maker is leaking water at the rear of the ice maker, somewhere around the water inlet. Water is dripping slowly and building up an ice ***** BEHIND (outside) the ice cube storage bin AND inside the...

Hello,The reason all the ice freezes together and you see icecicles forming from the icemaker,is going to caused by the water inlet valve on the back of the refrig.is not fully closing but instead it's seeping water through it and dripping into the ice storage bucket. To stop that from happening the water inlet valve would need to be replaced.
On refrigerators that have a built in water filter, alot of times their will be 2 water valves and the one that is bad causing water to seep through it will be the one called the SECONDARY valve.

Icemaker drips after refill

Good day,
The ice maker has a switch internal, that turns the water valve in the bottom rear of the machine on for 7 seconds after it harvests a batch.
That valve must close smartly, otherwise it will cause the cavity of the ice maker to overfill, and cause it to overfill.
If it does harvest cubes, then that is your problem. Replace the water valve. It's a very common problem.

Model KSRS25FGWH01-water is dripping inside the freezer ice bin.

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

The icemaker in my freezer has a slow drip. The water then freezes in the ice bin. Why is it dripping, and how can I fix it?

Good day,
The most common reason is the ice maker is overfilling because the water valve in the bottom rear of the refrigerator leaks on the off cycle, and needs replaced.

Make sure the machine is level and the ice maker is mounted in the freezer properly to keep it level.

Also, make sure the fill pipe going into the back of the ice maker is properly positioned.

The Ice maker body could have failed but is very rare.

My ice maker makes plenty of ice, no problem with the water either. My problem is that the auger will not turn to dispense the ice out of the bin. The motor kicks on when you push in the buttom, however it...

Pull the ice bucket out, then hold in on the door light switches and while you push a glass into the button for ice (may require two people). Ice dispenser and auger will only work, when you push for ice, when the freezer door is closed, so by holding the light switch(s) in the off position with door open you can simulate door being closed. If you can push the button and see the auger drive turn (with ice bucket out) then check to see if you have some ice stuck between the blades on the bucket, if the auger motor doesn't turn, it may be "ice frozen". Common problem. Remove motor, let sit on counter for about three hours and then reinstall, if it then works then check for water dripping from the fill tube, where the water comes into freezer for the ice maker, and see if it is dripping onto auger motor.

If you put auger motor back in and it still won't turn then more and likely you need an auger motor.

Let me know.

Whirlpool 4317943 Ice Maker Kit The ice tray overfills with water. Excess water drips into the ice bin & freezes

Probably the dual valve (solenoid) the one that opens when the ice maker calls for water is leaking. It's located in the back of the refrigerator at the bottom behind the cover. To be sure this is the problem turn off the ice maker and after a while if is water the valve is leaking ,if not the problem is with the ice maker.

Why doesn't my ice maker work?

You do not list model number, so this will be very generic. If you have cubes in the ice bin, and when you try to dispense them the duct door opens and the auger motor runs, check the auger in the ice bin itself. Check where the spiral auger meets the plastic part on front of the auger. Drive part likely seperated.

Ice bucket/bin frozen in place

mine was overfilling because the ice was getting stuck on the way out. So some stayed in the tray and when the water would refil, it would overfil and go over the stuk cubes. leaving it to overflow to the bottom and freeze like yours.
