Question about Toshiba Satelite 5205-S505 Notebook
I've been watching movies on my laptop for the past week and every time it would either over heat and just shut off completely or it would just start skipping the movie and then shut off. But every time this would happen I would be able to wait a day and then put it on again, but last night I was watching my movie when it just shut off and now this morning it won't start and the dvd is still in there and its not my dvd. What happens now?
Recovering the DVD disk is easy, open out a paper clip, look on the DVD player draw and you will see a tiny hole, gently insert the paper clip and when you feel a little resistance give a gentle push. This will release the door mechanism and allow you to pull the draw out and remove the disk.
It sounds like the machine has major overheated, check the rear air vents for signs of dust, clean them out and try again.
