I have a S1000. I cannot seem to get clear pictures with the zoom or with indoor lighting. I have tried all the settings to see which one is best but it will show a clear picture on camara but when downloaded to the computer it is blured and the color is awful.
Hey missy lu, There are a few reasons your images are coming out like this. I would first make sure the iso is not set to high or on auto (a good choice is 200), and directions on how to do this are on page 29 of your camera manual. I would then make sure that your image size and quality are set to the highest setting, and directions on how to set this are on page 33 of your manual. You can always reduce the size of your images but you can never make them bigger or better than they were recorded at. Lastly I would NEVER use the digital zoom. A digital zoom is merely software in the camera that is electronically cropping the image, and almost always it produces very bad pictures. Directions for your zoom are on page 18 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you need it. I hope this helps! http://www.samsungcamera.com/customer/download/cus_down_main.asp?page=5&keyfield=&key= Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
