SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Benefits and drawbacks associated with the adoption of network cpmputers

depends on the setup of the network for one. if it just simple setup then allows sharing of files, a single internet connection, some standalone capability for any problems if the computers get virus infection, internal emails/memos and some network back ups. downside software licence for many separate computers.server based. the computers can access one source for information. allowing users to log in and get their files from any machine. easy backups, licensing can work out cheaper for many machines. very easy to share information. however vulnerable to viruses, can be expensive to maintain if external company setup. servers can be expensive to buy and everyone has a problem if the network crashes, often no one can use the computers if not working.
networking is generally a positive thing and id recommend it.
hope this helps

Websites are blocked im on my school computer

Of course the are !
The school staff don't want you wasting your time and their resources in social networking, so most probably you won't be able to access Facebook, Twitter and the like.

How do I network my dell desk top and my dell laptop

If you are planning on networking two computers or more I highly recommend purchasing a wireless router. Once you have a wireless router make sure that you set your network connection settings, your Local Area network or Wireless (whichever you are using), to DHCP. Connect your system to your router and normally that's it. Also normally with a router it would also come with a CD. For setting up your network you could also use that for easy setup.

I have an HP c4180. My pc is Windows xp. Would like to print through my wireless hub. Internet and printer are connected hard to the hub. PC won't see the printer.

I have the same printer, & it prints fine on my desktop pc but to get it to print from my laptop wirelessly I just had to enable printer sharing on both pcs, & then when adding a new printer on my laptop I just had to set it to print over a network. the only problem I get is I have to select the printer when starting a print session.

Printer port

Go to Start, Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes. Go up to the top and click on File, then click Add Printer. This will bring up the Add Printer Wizard. Click Next. On the next screen make sure ‘Local printer…’ is selected and also ‘Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer’ is checked.

Click Next. If windows does not find and install the printer automatically at this point, click Next. The LPT1 port or other printer point will be selected so then click Next. If there is no port there, Click add port and proceed from there.

Howto add a network printer on Wyse winterm S30 terminal?

The S30 terminal has the CE 5.0 operating system loaded as default. So you are limited by the operating system and not the hardware when it comes to network printing.

Here is a extract of the release notes for Windows CE 5.0:

"In Windows CE, TCP/IP supports network printing through the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol. It does not provide the Windows Line Printer Remote (LPR) Spooler. However, independent software vendors (ISVs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can add this support."

In short, you need a 3rd party software program or a (SMB) printer server setup to setup network printing on the S30 terminal..

Wyse also have add-on software to help, if you have CE 5.0 loaded then try the "Thinprint" add-on supplied as a free download by them.
Download Link:
http://www.wyse.com/supportdownload/3series/Addon_ThinPrint_B0010.exe

I haven't tried this, so let me know if it works.
