If you want people to help you, take a little bit of time to explain your problem with enough descriptive words so we can help. This is a waste of everyones time.

The sound was turned off on my computer, how do I turn it off again

What version OS. Usually go to Start-control panel-device manager. Look at sound and video controllers and see if there is a yellow ! or ? in front of it. If there isn't then it is not a hardware.

How do you increas monitor sound?

Check the settings for audio volume control on the monitor side. Also, check the individual settings for the audio for applications and system sounds on the OS side. Or call ViewSonic technical support for assistance.

You will need to restore the sound driver. If you have the recovery disc or OS disc the driver should be on the Driver/Utility disc. If not go to manufacturer's support site and download the driver.

When I turned on my PC this morning, I saw as the bios info screen loaded then the screen went black. Then when a new screen loaded, it flashed the screen, then went black again. Any idea what the problem...

Probably a problem with the OS itself. I would recommend putting in your OS cd (the one that came with the computer. And restart, select the option to repair OS (or says something to that effect). This may fix the problem. If it does not try another monitor, see if it is monitor specific (I dont think so, it sounds like it is an OS problem)

My problem is no sound Per the computer it shows it is working and I have tried everything to figure out what the problem could be.

Please cool down & smile (very important) ha ha...
Now, go to your control panel / sound or audio / audio tab / sound playback! Here you need to choose your proper default output device. ( the said path depends on the OS you are using)
Apply changes & exit. BINGO!

Sound problem

Hello....
No Sound, No Volume Control, Mixer not Found, No Sound device installed…etc etc, This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this issue began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service and help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.
www.sureshayyar.110mb.com
visit my support page.

all the best...

Sound loss on Pakard Bell LCD MW19H monitor

Try plugging your sound cable into a different device to see if it works (it probably does work but lets check it anyway). You should also check all of the sound settings by going to control pannel and selecting the audio tab. If the settings weren't screwed up, reinstall the audio driver. I may even try reinstalling the monitor drivers if the audio doesn't work.

No Audio

ya i think the drivers are not installed ... so install the drivers you will be able to get the sound through the speakers ....

you are not getting the sound as drivers are not installed due to that there are no audio codecs installed ....
so first install it ...

this may also happen if you install the operating system newly that too if OS is below recommendation ...
just check once your system OS recommendation by the manufacturer ....

any doubts reply me ...
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye ...
