Rca streamer not logging on to netflix nor hulu.

I suggest that you try and use a wired connection to test your wireless setup. You could be having interference problems or signal loss issues. If the wired connection works then that is your problem. A 4" wall is equivalent to 16 feet of open air, so the more walls you have between your wireless source and the destination the greater the signal loss. Also if you are in an apartment you could be getting interference from our neighbor's wireless equipment. If possible temporary move the wireless source into the same room with the receiver and see if that helps. Again if that does fix your problems, then you need to find a different Ethernet connection method. Try a Ethernet Over Power (example only) system. If none of these provide any better results then you need a faster internet access. Ask your ISP to provide you with a faster access for one day so that you can test your system. They should be willing to do that for you for free.

I just purchased a Harman Kardon AVR 2650 and use it with a projector. It says to use the set up button and there isn't one. can't get on screen menu to set up

HI,
First of all check the HDMI connections. You have to connect the HDMI Monitor out to Your projector.. And HDMI 1 to blueray or to a dvd player what you have.

To access the setup on Harman Kardon avr Just press the AVR button on the remote control. You can find the AVR button on the lowest postion of the remote . When you press the AVR button the ON SCREEN menu will pop up. Do the settings you needed.

One more thing try to use HDMI cable wih a vertion of 1.4a.

If you are not able to get the AVR ON SCREEN menu through HDMI then connect the composite monitor out In the rear of the avr to the projectors composite video input. Select the projectors composite input.

Then press the AVR button. Connect the mic to your Avr which coms with it. Select the speaker setup From the menu. Then select Automatic setup.

If you need any more assistance feel free to contact me throug fixya or by mail.

We have an Electro Brand Inc. DVD Home Theater System, model # STS2891-1. We cannot see ANYTHING on the HDTV screen that would allow us to access the SETUP menu. Please help!!!!!! We have tried...

First, does your TV have HDMI connections? If so, you need to connect your home theater to one of those (it doesn't matter which one, although I would choose HDMI1 (you will, of course, need an HDMI cable for this). You will see nothing on your TV screen until you make that connection. Once you do, using the Electro remote, you should be able to access the "set up" menu.

My satellite receiver cant find free channels

do a download on the reciever, pull the power leed out from the back, put your finger on the backup button on the box and put the power leed back in but always keep your finger on the backup button sometimes a bit tricky, leave your finger on the button for about 20 seconds till you see 4 lights light up on the front of the box or untill it says on the screen updating system software, take your finger of the button and leave the box for 10 mins.the lights will off then after that then give it another min to reboot its self then try it again.hope that works for you

Turned back light down on my polaroid 4GB pmp280-4 touch screen now i cant see to turn it back up

settings is in the lower right hand side of the screen, tap there.
display is in the middle of the screen on the left hand side about one(1) inch down from the top of the screen.
the slider for brightness is down one and one-forth inches down from the top of the screen, tap about 1 inch from the left hand side of the screen, remember it is 1 1/4 inches down the screen.

Denon 3801.cant display setup on tv

Hello gerrydav, What might be happenening is the refresh rate for your blu-ray is offsync for your preferred display. You should be able to change it by plugging it into another TV and playing around with the settings. If you have further problems please feel free to post again.
Please post what you do and how you did it. I look forward to your posts.

Settings

As mentioned, I have got to the bottom of this without Onkyo's help. I replaced the offending component, which is a 5.5V 0.1F backup capacitor. This is mounted on the front PCB, just below the right hand side of the display. It is a right pain to get to. Here briefly is what to do:
1: Unplug (really important!), remove top cover.
2: Undo three screws underneath front panel edge, pull off volume and tone knobs, and gently pull off metal front panel from the bottom, which is held with sticky tape inside.
3: Undo five screws from plastic front panel and free it. You will now have limited access to the front panel PCB and audio processor PCB.
4: Cut a few black cable ties as required to gain better access to front PCBs, and unplug ribbon cable from right hand side. It may be helpful to undo the nut and so release the volume control encoder.
5: Still struggling with poor access, release the standoffs from the audio processor PCB and unplug its ribbon cable. You have to remove the audio processor PCB in order to get to the screws under it. You may want to remove the PCB for holding the mains switch.
6: Now with some kind of access to the whole of the front panel PCB, undo 10,000 screws which secure it to the black plastic front panel.
7: Now with limited access to the front side of the front panel PCB, locate the capacitor, towards the right hand side of the display, just beneath it. Note the polarity; the negative terminal goes to the left/top pcb land, positive to the bottom/right. Desolder and replace this component. HINT: Make life easier for next time and mount the new part on the REAR of the PCB, so now negative will be down. Care with polarity!
8: Reassemble carefully. Make sure that the volume control encoder metal clasps are tight as they come apart easily. Fit new cable ties in original locations (important to prevent hum pickup).

The parts you will require then are about 6 nylon cable ties, and a 0.1F 5.5V capacitor. I had to make do with a 0.047F part because it was all I had to hand and I didn't want the machine in bits while I ordered one. Many of these components today are radial PCB mounting, which are not an ideal fit but could be used at a push. If you can get a vertically mounted one, that would be better. The nearest I can readily find is from RS Components item 377-350 (Panasonic EECS0HD104V), and the leads on this could doubtless be re-jigged to fit.
