This is a transfer roll error. Take the toner cartridge out and clean the area under it. The transfer roll is a roller which is right under the toner cartridge. make sure the ie is clean . It may need to be replaced.

This error indicates that there is a charging problem with the transfer roller. You could start by cleaning the contacts for the transfer roller (power off printer first). The transfer roller is the black foam-like roller under the toner cartridge. Handle it with paper because the oils on your hand could damage it. To remove it, just pry under the far left side with a screwdriver. Lift and pull to the left to remove. If this does not fix it, then you have a more serious problem. It could be one of the arms or the HVPS.
There are 2 likely possibilities: 1. Very dark print usually indicates your charge roller is not removing the charge from the drum. The charge roller "erases" the charge laid down by the laser from the previous pass and prepares it for the next portion of the image. If not erased or has a latent charge it will pull toner onto the drum. Try changing the charge roller . 2. Your wiper blade in the cartridge may not be properly wiping excess toner. Swap the toner cartridge with another and see if the problem goes away.
