Printer is 120volt model, was plugged into 240volts... :~{
Now shows error code SC581.
Q1 - is power supply module likely to fix it?
Q2 - how much has to be dismantled to change power supply?
Q1 - Possibly, I have not seen an SC581 error before. Usually using too much power would give you something like an SC240 error "Power Supply Excessive". So it depends on the extent of the damage. You could also have to replace the main board, motors, etc.
Q2 - You will have to pull back the feeder tray, remove the back panel, there is a cover over the main board and the power supply is below it and fairly easy to get to. But if other components were damaged it could be a much more involved repair.

My Printer is a Aficio CL 3500N
I printed to my printer this morning and was printing just fine.
All of a sudden when I tried to print a simple Word Document it says Ricoh Aficio CL 3500N in the reading panel. No error code comes up. I have turned it off, unplugged it, changed the Waste Toner Bottle and tried to get it to respond by exiting, etc. Turned off Computer and then the printer to reset and it just keeps returning the to same thing on the panel. Ricoh Aficio CL 3500N - HELP - Any idea what it would be?
