The beeps are error codes telling you there is an irq interupt conflict with your video card. Does your computer have an onboard video controler also? If this is the case you will have to hook up your monter to that and remove your geforce video card for now. Fire up the computer and then disable the onboard video controller using the device manager by selecting the onboard video card from the list right click on it and click disable device. This will allow you to plug in the geforce and not Have a IRQ conflict. The geforce will now be recognised as the computers only video device and there will be no more conflict or error beeps. The geforce will be recognized as a standard vga adapter until you install the software and drivers for it to gain full use of all its features. If you need more help send me an Email to geokohler@gmail with your phone number and I will call you for free to help you out

Monitor blank after bios update

Try shutting down completely. Some BIOS updates kill the on-board video until power is cut off completely.

If that fails, hope you made a back up of your BIOS before flashing it. You could always order a replacement from the manufacturer as well.

I could not turn on my Micron PC ClientPro. The sleep light will be red and the power light is not on when press the power button.

This is typical of a blown Power Supply. But try unplugging everything and waiting 60 seconds and then try again.

I have an HP Pavilion a1777c with a blank monitor

If the computer is starts up normally other than the no-video problem (that is, you hear all the normal sounds from the computer and the usual Windows startup music), then you probably do need a new video card. According to HP's spec page for the motherboard used, you'll need a PCI-E video card. Don't confuse this with a regular PCI card which has a different connector.

The spec page also says the board has integrated graphics. so you could remove any video card that's been installed and try booting with the built-in video. If everything else is working properly you can use that until you get a new expansion video card.

If the trouble is that the computer's not booting at all even though it's coming on, you'll need to figure out why. This might be a memory or video problem, although these usually cause some beep code if the motherboard gets into its POST (power on self-test). If nothing at all happens, this is often the sign of a bad power supply, processor chip or system board.
