Hotpoint CTD00 condenser dryer not heating up

I have had my hotpoint CTD00 condenser dryer for about 1.5 yrs now. Last week I noticed that the dryer was not heating up any more. All other functions seem to be working ok but the air is not heating. Can anybody tell me potentially what is wrong and how I might fix it?
Thanks

Sounds like a thermostat fault, there is two on these machines and although only one will be at fault both should be replaced

Where did you find the thermostats?
Thanks

My hotpoint ctd00 wont heat up

I would suggest that you check the heater and thermostats, these are located behind a removeable cover at the rear of the dryer.
You will need a meter to test them with, you are checking for continuity

My hotpoint ctd00has stopped heating up how do i

You will find the thermostats located at the rear of dryer.
Remove cover, and you will see them adjacent to the heater element, change them both, even if only 1 is faulty.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Drying Problems with a Hotpoint CTD00

There is a thermal fuse at the back that you must check. The thermal fuse can be tested using a multimeter.
If the fuse is ok, then check the heating element , the temp probe, wiring harness to heating element and temp sensor, and if there is nothing in there , then test control timer board.

Regarding parts, contact the seller here to purchase parts. (here in UK).

My hotpoint aquarouis ctd00 tumble dryer is heating but no air is blowing through. also there is no water collecting in the water tray

Check all filters and air vents at front and rear of m/c, to make sure they are all clear., do not overload, make sure you have selected right heat setting, and the correct drying time.
It is not usual to feel air blowing out of dryer, because it is a condenser dryer.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
