The backlight on your LCD TV has a power inverter that could go bad as well. When this happens, you may need to replace the inverter or the capacitor.

Check on ebay under the model number for a new or used board.or Andrews electronics for a new board.

Its quite possible but you would have to compare the tag numbers on the screen you have compared to the replacement screen. They must match perfectly because the Tcon boards are matched to the specific LCD panel.

that problem have 2 causes its either power supply or main board..

if you have multimeter that's better if none just look at the capacitors if bulged on the top..if bulged please replaced with the same value..

if you don't have bad caps there is a big possibility that your main board is bad..

if the main board is bad you only have to do is to order the new board and install it..

Short answer: No.

The board and install will cost you more than an LCD/LED flat screen TV.

Sorry for the bad news, but you will save space and electricity with the new TV.

Next problem: Trashing the projection TV.

First, I doubt that the power supply and MB are "connected", so they likely lied to you. As far as parts go, you can get them on Ebay, probably for around bucks total for the power supply and MB. This is important, Just because the model number on the TV matches the model number on the part, it doesn't mean it is the right one...the manufacturers sometimes use different boards on the same TV's. So make sure you are looking at the numbers on the boards and that they match before you buy it. Honestly though, you never know what you are getting on ebay as far as used boards and power supplies go, by the time you pay for shipping ETC you are going to be probably 150 to 200 bucks into it...and it might not work, or it might work for a while then the used parts go out as well. Best Buy has a 43" sharp LCD TV, smart, built in Roku...for 269. You might be better off to spend the extra 50 to 100 bucks and just buy a new TV, and definitely better off buying a new TV than paying some scam artist 400 bucks to fix a TV. i think this is caused by a factory failure in the electronic circuits or the screen, and so my advise is that the bvest, easiest and safest solution to contact a tecnician or sort out wether the warranty can cover this.
