Before installing Sonic Stage 4.3 I transferred all my music (all paid for under copyright) onto Sony Network Walkman NW-E005. After installation of 4.3 I transferred it all to Sonic Stage Library; and selected only some albums to transfer back to the MP3. It won't transfer and gives the following message:
"Cannot convert the specified track.
Possible reasons may include:
- The track (files) cannot be found.
- SonicStage does not support the file format of the track.
- The track is copyright protected."
The track plays OK from Sonic Stage via my PC so copyright is the issue. How do I overcome this?
Try voidMP3FM from www.drvoid.com I have a NW-E005 but the web site
says the program supports the NW-E002 as well. Have used this program
from day one and have never loaded sonic stage. Heard lots of
complaints about it.
Hope this helps.
The player doesn't accept removing of music, or formatting, when it is
not done from SonicStage, the software that sony offers with it.
The software is to be downloaded here.
When you've installed the
software, format the player from the menu (all your music will be
removed, so you might want to copy it to your pc first). Then transfer
your music with
this program.

try to reformat and re install the driver again..

I don't think it is a copyright thing it should be file format comparability issue.
