Try this when you have the xbox off hold the white sync button on the controller itself while holding the sync button press the center x box button to power on the xbox do not let go of the sync button until the xbox boots up it should take care of the bad install which it sounds like you have
Ok that a little weird . sound like bios error after the globe
or garbage in the cache that didn't dump. Unplugged the
box for about 20min . try to get a clean boot to menu
.If the same thing happens im leaning more toward a hardwarefailure of one of the usual suspects the G.P.U. C.P.U. Those chips may need to be x clamp modded just as a diagnostic
procedures and if that fixes it then they need to be re-flowed
back to the board .
yeah probably just e74 or 0102 error that hasn't registered yet cause from a cracked or cold solder joint. You will either need to send it in to microsoft to get replaced, or do it yourself. Since you don't know exactly what error you have, a good fix-all is to try Team Hybrid's Ultimate X-clamp Fix from xbox-experts.com
Alot of people have this same problem,
