Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

1 Answer

E75 What is it

The xbox boots into the white screen with the globe and then stops and goes to the E75 error screen automatically or it just shows the E75 screen in the begining. The lower right red light flashes and the secondary code gives me the 1023 error

My xbox freezes just as it starts loading the dashboard

Ok that a little weird . sound like bios error after the globe
or garbage in the cache that didn't dump. Unplugged the
box for about 20min . try to get a clean boot to menu
.If the same thing happens im leaning more toward a
hardware failure of one of the usual suspects the G.P.U. C.P.U.
Those chips may need to be x clamp modded just as a diagnostic
procedures and if that fixes it then they need to be re-flowed
back to the board .

E75 error need help

Hmm I thought E75 / 1023 was a cold joint under the ethernet chip.
Apparently it can also be Southbridge related because your DVD-drive's power is cut off...

Give the Southbridge-> ethernet-chip area a reflow this should fix it...

My xbox freezes upon start up i dont know if its e75 or what but iits not the dashboard that freezs either its the screen when you immediately turn on the xbox

yeah probably just e74 or 0102 error that hasn't registered yet cause from a cracked or cold solder joint. You will either need to send it in to microsoft to get replaced, or do it yourself. Since you don't know exactly what error you have, a good fix-all is to try Team Hybrid's Ultimate X-clamp Fix from xbox-experts.com

One flashing red light.

usually with 1 red light errors, there will also be an error that shows on the screen like e73, e74, e75, etc. You will need to first get your secondary error code.

then enter either the e-code from the screen or the secondary error code into the repair guide
