1-try resettting the game's control layout back to default...you might have changed the layout 2-is this problem happening in other games as well? if it does, then we can consider taking the controller for repair 3-there is always ebay and amazon to get you a new controller 4-do you have a wireless or usb adapter to connect the xbox controller to the pc? in windows 7 you can use the gamepad as a gamepad and in "callibration settings" you can test the buttons
go get those killstreaks!

Left analog stick My Xbox left analog stick does

Analog stick might be bad and may need replaced. If you don't feel comfortable tearing it apart, you may want to look into a new / used one.

Left analog stick drifting left

Hello Iwn666,

There could multiple things wrong, and hopefully nothing serious. Here is a complete list of some problems and solutions that can be wrong with the analog stick.

1. The Left analog stick may be sticky. If you eat greasy foods while playing your Xbox 360 console, try to avoid this from now on. Grease from food particles may slip into the analog stick, and make it sticky, causing the analog to move constantly to one fixed position. Please look at the next problem and solution ahead before attempting to remove your controller with a screwdriver. Here is a complete guide on how to access the inside of an Xbox controller.

----------

2. There may be a simple glitch in configuration. Try turning off your Xbox 360 controller by holding the Xbox Guide button for approx 4 seconds untill a menu comes up. Select "Turn off controller". After doing so, try turning on your controller again. If the problem persists, there may be a greasy analog stick, or an object that broke that holds the analog stick together. My right analog stick is broken. It sticks in one

hey chochie :-)

quick simple ansa to this....YOU DONT :-(

srry...

i have boxes of controllers with one analog stick broke (left or right) & even i dont fix them & i deal in controllers (i mod them)

Its a real big job to replace a analog stick when its damaged !
lots of de-soldering (to remove) (solder ****** working overtime)
& lots of re-soldering fitting the new (or used) one !
Trust me....ive tried ! I can do it...but its not worth the time it takes to repair !

srry maybe not the news you wanted to hear...but honesty the best policy !

take care :-)

Issue with right analog stick - Xbox 360 Controller

I'm afraid I've had the same problem and I can shed a little light on it.

I've tried to fix this but to no avail. I have even transplanted the whole analog stick unit with one from a working controller to see if it will work but I have the same problem.

So, my conclusion the problem is not with the stick itself, but with the microcontroller inside the pad which takes the info from the stick.

I took the analog unit out, and plugged the pad into the computer without it , but STILL the vertical axis on the right stick was pushing up even though there was no input from a stick. It seems to be a fault with the pad, not the analog stick.

Right analog stick not working

Check the controls on the game's control section. If you play another game that uses the right analog control and it works on that game then it's the control set up for FIFA. Make sure that the analog control light is on when the game boots up. Sometimes if the analog control light is not on when you turn the game on and you turn it on afterwards, the analog stick controls don't work properly. That happened to me on NFS Pro Street. If this helped you leave feedback please. FIXYA!

ANALOG STICK intenrnally broke

You could try to dissasemble it carefully and see if it the stick has simply just become dislodged but it sounds more like something has broken inside the housing, Possibly just as easy to buy a replacement if you can be bothered to repair it, There not overly expensive nowdays.
