Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Press the scan button on the printer
Posted on Jul 26, 2008
You can access the scanning function usually through a button on the front of the Canon, or using the Canon toolbox. If neither of these methods work, double check the physical connections to the printer.
Once you've verified everything is plugged in correctly, and it still doesn't work, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the software that came with your printer. Just make sure that you unplug the Canon from the computer before you uninstall the software, and don't plug it back in until the installation software tells you to do so.

Tips for a great answer:
Scanning can be performed with the MP Navigator software. Please open the MP Navigator from your Desktop or the Canon Utilities listing of the Start Menu (Windows) or Applications folder (Mac).
Hope this helps you.
