I have a Genius G-Pen F610 tablet installed. It works perfectly. However, it causes a clash with EA Games FIFA 10 game. When the tablet is installed the game won't work. Not that I'm trying to use the...

There is a conflict in the installed programs on the driver for the tablet and the game software,sometimes due to the video resolution which is common to games that requires a higher resolution that the tablet don't or cannot support.Why not use a handheld control instead which is designed for the games in the first place and for what they are made for.As I use to know that tablets are mainly used for graphics or CAD instrumentations not for gaming and this why your computer is having these issues.

ACECAD ADVANCEDigitizer - Model A-1212 - S/N 11212053381

From what I can find on this, it sounds like it has a standard serial connector - which should work with your computer. Does the cable not fit any port on your PC? If not, how many pins are there? As for drivers - what operating system are you using? I've found a number of sites with drivers, but most are for varieties of Linux.

My few week old bamboo input device is malfunctioning. The graphics tablet isfine according to the program checklist for troubleshooting, it also recognizes the stylus/pen when it is tapped on the active...

When was it last working?
Well first, try restarting the Bamboo program or restarting your system. It has more than one program that runs at the same time. For example, one program may be the one to control the movements and another may be there to help manage your bamboo device.
Second, installing the bamboo drivers and software may help. Registry can be edited, but that can lead to more issues.
Goodluck! :)

Driver for windows7

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D

Laptop wont boot up after installing Genius F610

you need to run a nifty little program called Spinrite on your laptop. You can download it via BitTorrent HERE

you will need to use a program to burn the ISO image onto disk and make it bootable. I use PowerISO . It is very easy and straight forward. You can download it HERE (use the name: Dr.Upload
serial: SKSIP-7AIX1-8YWEZ-U197K-T88IE ) to remove restrictions.

Open the iso file using PowerISO. Now we have to make it a bootable disk image. Spinrite comes with FREEDOS instaled, but most laptops don't like using it.
Follow directions here on making a bootable image.

after burning your disk boot your system up with the cd. when you get to a prompt , ie C:\\ you will need to change it to your default cd drive mine is E:
after changing the drive letter type SPINRITE
the program will start - follow onscreen directions and change scan level to 5. after program finishes reboot after removing disk.

BLUE SCREEN ON MY LAPTOP

Try going into properties - settings and change the resolution.
Is the blue screen still there? Because if it is, you can sometimes alt+tab it out of there, most likely it's a virus rather than an actual problem with your Notebook.

G-Pen !!

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, a couple of ideas when installing:
  • do a right click on the setup/install program and "run as administrator";
  • temporarily disable your antivirus prior to the installation;
  • pls click here to download the driver.
Would appreciate if you could post back and update for any developments.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy New Year.
