Whirlpool awz 7303 - drum spins intermittently My Whirlpool Imperial Dryer sounds louder than normal and it starts and stops intermittently. It will click then go off then after five min start back just to shut off again. The blower fan is not obstructed. I removed the rear cover and there is a Yellow Wire With red stripe hanging inside off of something. there is NOTHING in their to plug it into. I cannot for the life of me find where it went or where its supposed to go. It is down by the thermal relays. with no where to plug it into. everything has a wire already connected to it. I I downloaded the manuals from the website, I could not find anything on that wire. MODEL NUMBER LE7800XSw3, Not on the List...

Whirlpool AWZ 410 washer dryer is not generating any hot air when drying. The dryer drum is tumbling but with cool air only.

Unplug the unit and take the top with the screws holding the lid on. Take a look at all of the wires on the top of the machine. You might notice broken/burnt wires on the safeties that are close to or that directly activate the heating element located in the blower housing located at the top of this washer/dryer condensing unit.

My whirlpool awz 7303 is very noisy. i think it is something to do with the drum going round. could the belt need tightening?

If your dryer is noisy, check these: Your dryers uses rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time. Idler pulley your dryer has a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it. Rear drum bearing assembly does not fail often in this type of dryer. There are videos of the testing and replacing of these parts at http://appliancehelponline.com/dryerrollervideo.html this will walk you thru the troubleshooting and replacement of these parts Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. This brings us to the last problem could be the blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time.To check this grab the wheel and see if theres any play . But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you need to replace it. If you need diagrams or illustrations of your specific model you can also enter your model # there. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Whirlpool AWZ 7303 tumbling but not drying.

blower wheels will get loose in dryers. Sometimes they will get a whole lump of lint in them or you can hear a rattling noise in the dryer, this is the blower wheel, its worn out and it can cause the fuse to blow too,or it can half *** work and take fifty forever's to dry the clothes.Or it could be just that the dryer needs a good blowing out .I use a lawn blower to get all the lint out of the dryer as well as the vent pipe and vent to outside. I take the filter HOUSING out and wash it also. That is, I remove the housing and clean is good! Making sure that the dryer is properly flowing air is a good thing!

Dryer started out squeeling and now is making loud sounds?

This is very likely due to bad drum support rollers which is really not a difficult repair on these dryers.
