Problem retrieving Contacts

Cannot retrieve contacts. Will not exit contacts screen using 'Exit' function.. No "Options' function dispalyed. Tried to update software using PC Suite but get message 'Unable to Retrieve Phone Information.

    No 'Option' function to view, mark & copy the contacts to SIM and they are not visible via PC Suite. When I get a call, I can still see who is calling me.

Try to copy the contact to the SIM card.
and then try it in another phone.

I want to copy contacts from sim mto phone memmory


go to menu and click on contacts then on that press options then click on settings. now on that see there is a option like view contacts on . now select it as sim. then press ok . now exit and again go to contacts.Now the contacts on your sim card will be displayed now go to options on the contacs and click on the option " Copy to phone" On that option click multiple then when it ask to select the contacs click on the first option which is select all then now press ok .Now your contacts will be copied to your phone. now change the contacts view in to phone.


simple guide:


1)Menu->contacts-> contact settings-> view contacts on-> Sim card-> ok->exit
2)menu->contacs-> Copy to phone->multiple->select All-> ok.
3)Menu->contacts-> contact settings-> view contacts on-> Phone-> ok->exit

Where is the electronicnautomatic temperature control module located on a 05 ford 150


I assume you have checked all fuses. It could be the heater control switch , the blower motor resister , I would start testing if power is getting pass the switch to the blower motor.

Heater displays everything but you cannot turn anything on ac will not turn on neither will the heat the buttons will not even light up please help


From the equipment description, I take this to be a EATC ( Electronic Automatic Temperature Control ) system.

You can try to run the EATC diagnostic test & recalibrate ( once you have confirmed it is not a fuse )

Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Module On-Demand Self-Test The EATC module on-demand self-test will retrieve on-demand (hard fault) DTCs only, it will not retrieve continuous DTCs. Continuous DTCs can be cleared when exiting the EATC module on-demand self-test. Make sure to retrieve continuous DTCs by carrying out the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Module - Retrieve Continuous DTCs procedure before clearing any continuous DTCs.


•The EATC module on-demand self-test will not detect concerns associated with data link messages like engine coolant temperature or vehicle speed signals. A diagnostic tool must be used to retrieve these concerns.
•The EATC module on-demand self-test will detect concerns in the system control functions and will display on-demand (hard fault) DTCs for concerns that are present during the self-test. The vehicle interior temperature should be between 4°-38°C (40°-100°F) when performing the self-test. If the temperatures are not within the specified ranges, false DTCs may be displayed.
•The self-test can be initiated after cycling the ignition switch from OFF to ON. Normal operation of the climate control system stops when the self-test is activated.
•To enter the self-test, press the OFF and DEFROST buttons simultaneously and release, then press the AUTO button within 2 seconds . The display will show a flashing blower icon for 20 seconds , after which all vacuum fluorescent segments will be displayed if there are no on-demand DTCs present. If DTCs are present the EATC module will display "00 00" and then on-demand DTCs. Record all DTCs displayed.
•If any DTCs appear during the self-test, carry out the diagnostic procedure. Refer to the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Code Index and follow the ACTION for each DTC given. See: Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

3.Wait one minute .
4.Connect the EATC or EMTC module electrical connectors.
5.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
6.Select any position except OFF on the EATC or EMTC module. The EATC or EMTC module will now initialize and calibrate the mode doors. Calibration of the mode doors will take approximately 30 seconds .

Unless you have used any feature(wireless back up, mobile sync, etc.) through your carrier allowing you to back up/store contacts you cannot retrieve any contacts.

Please copy all the contacts on the phone memory of N70 to the sim memory first and then copy the phone numbers from the sim to the new samsung phone.... Hope i solved ur querry.

Hello!
I went to the AT&T/Cingular store and they tried hooking my broken phone to their system but could not retrieve any #s (they were saved to my phone not my SIM). They told me there was no other way to retrieve the #s and that a computer cable wouldn't work bc their system would've been able to retrieve them. I knew there had to be some way of retrieving them bc I could still turn my phone on- the top 1/2 (screen) had just broken off.
It finally dawned on me to look at my husband's phone (we had the same one), write down the buttons to press & the # of clicks per button on my old phone, in order to blindly go through my entire contacts list and save each one to my SIM card. Approximately every 25 contacts I saved I'd switch the SIM card to my new phone and make sure they were all saving correctly. I'm currently still transferring all 137 contacts- grueling but well worth it. This only works if your old phone will still turn on & function even if you can't see/use the screen.
***Make sure your phone's saving your contacts to your SIM and not your phone- I thought mine was and it was one rude awakening today when I found out otherwise! I hope this helps!
