turns on works wont heat only 6 months old

how do i get to the diode or magnetron,capacitor do i have to remove unit from wall or is there a way to get to it from bottom or front?

It doesnt matter how old a system was. components can be failed at any point in time. unplug the unit. carefully disassembly and visually check the diode near magnetron and capacitor, it might be broken.If seems good, check the thermostat continuity,if beeping. changage your magnetron. be careful capacitor store charges that deadly. discharge the capacitor first.
when you change mag. change the diode too.

If mounted on the wall or cabinet, you need a helper to hold it when unscrew.
Remove the whole screws at the top and the two sides.One lead of the diode is connected to the magnetron the other leg connected to the capacitor.
