Replace the convergence Ics. Post your model number to this same post and I will list the correct ICs and resistors you need for your model TV.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My 1080i has a triple picture, can you help?

Hi,
It definitely can be fixed the IC chips (called STKs) that line up the images from each picture tube are failing.Sometimes a fuse or resistor go out along with the chips. The parts would cost around $100 + whatever labor charge if you hire someone.

I see 3 picture in my tv

This television needs to be repaired by a qualified service center or replaced. There is no adjustment that can be made at home to fix the problem you have described.

Triple color and picture is bowed

This is a convergence problem. If you can solder, you can fix this yourself. Please supply the make and model and if you wish to attempt to repair this yourself so I can provide additional details and instructions.

Thanks,

Your set needs demagnatizing if it hasn't been dropped. Only a tv repairman has a demgnatizing coil. However one try: unplug it and turn it back on because all standard tv's have an automatic demagnatizing coil circuit around the tube inside. but doesn't always demagnatize completely.
