    Can someone help my samsung 32 HDTV has has lines on the right side of the screen.they dont go away no matter what.

    42 inch lg plasma tv started with a black line on the left side that turned into a red margin-like light that is slowly getting wider.

This plasma TV repair site might have the fix if the lines are black thick ones. bad circuit joints that might need to be re-soldered.

Your plasma screen is made up of 1080 verticle lines and now a few of these lines are not working. This is the screen itself and needs replacing.

NOT DEFECTIVE!!!
There are 4 or 5 ribbon cables on the bottom or on one side, they control part of the plasma screen. Check the ribbon cable2_bing.gifnear the black lines. Unplug the ribbon cable and look for black chipson the underside of it, I think they say 100 on them, you need toresolder both ends on each chip. Should fix the black line issue.

Samsung plasma HPR4272 that had a 4" black vertical line on


There are at least two issues here. First you have bad buffer boards. Second Very possibly a bad X-Main bd and P-Logic bds. Have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot the set.

I have the same problem. My repair shop says I need a new plasma screen. Dell says replacement screens are unavailable. I now have a 42" paperweight.
