I need help to disconnect a second computer to my internet

Disconnect? I assume you mean to "Connect" a second computer. You haven't supplied much information as to how you are trying to connect, so I'll assume that you are trying to connect via wireless. If your router has been set up with encryption you will need the passcode to connect. You haven't mentioned what operating system you are working with so again I'll assume it's Windows XP and you are using a laptop.

Make sure your wireless radio is turned on then look down to the bottom right corner and you should see an icon that shows your internet connection status. Right click on it and select "View available wireless networks". It will show all available connections and yours should show on it as a good signal (if you are close to the router). Select the connection and click on "Connect". If you don't have the router set up with encryption it will tell you that the connection is not protected, just click on connect again. If you have encryption set up on the router it will tell you there is encryption and will ask for the passcode/password.

Type in the passcode and then type it in again on the second line (Vista and Windows 7 will only ask for the code once). Click on "remember this connection" when you see the option. You should now be connected and cruising the net! I hope this helped out, but without more information I can't go much further. Cheers!

Trying to run wii systems update through the new BT home hub connections fine but I get an error code of 32004 can you help. Many thanks

Error Code: 32004Please check the following:
  1. Satellite Internet often causes this Error Code. You must have a cable or DSL internet connection. Other connection types, such as dial-up and satellite, are typically not compatible. Contact your Internet Service Provider if you are not sure what type of internet connection you have.
  2. Ours servers may be trying to handle an unusually high amount of traffic (especially if a new Wii update is available). Please wait a few hours and try the connection again later.
  3. Does your internet service provider (ISP) require that you log in whenever you wish to use the internet? If so, your ISP may not be compatible with the Wii console. Please contact your ISP for additional information.
If you are still unable to connect, and have waited a few hours, please try the following:
How are you attempting to connect your Wii console online?
    Wireless Router:

  1. Adjust the Wii's manual settings. Click here for more information.
  2. Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. Be sure to try both channels if the first one you try does not work. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available). (The "Channel" setting is typically found in the "Wireless" section of your router's setup utility.)

  3. If adjusting the "Channel" did not work, please review our "Slow Download Times or Errors Received While Connecting" troubleshooting tips by clicking here.

  4. Try temporarily disabling your router's firewall.* Are you using a Netgear brand wireless router? Our expeirence shows disabling the "SPI Firewall" of the router may help the connection. The "SPI Firewall" option is typically found under the "WAN Setup" tab of the router's settings. For information on accessing your router's settings, please click here and select the model of the Netgear router you own (if available).

Router not seeing internet connection

If you are on cable internet, you need to perform MAC Address Cloning. Access the router's setup page using your main PC, under SETUP tab, there's a sub-tab called MAC Address Clone. Enable that and click on "Clone My PC's MAC" then click on Save Settings. Power cycle the router and the modem. You should be online after that.

I am trying to download windows live messenger, but when i do, it says that i am working offline, even though i have connected to internet!

FYI, just because you see a page open within your Browser, that in itself doesn't mean you're connected to the internet as the page may have been cached (saved). So to verify connectivity try to navigate to another page by clicking a link in the one you're on (such as the download link that gives you the offline error) or typing in a URL to another site and verifying connectivity. Once you have established connectivity to the Internet (not just your network) then try to download Messenger from Microsoft again.
If you have verified connectivity and still get the offline message, then try downloading Messenger from another source, maybe that will help.

My xbox will not conekt to the internet throw my pc i have made it so it allows sheering internet but it stell isont working

Microsoft has a customer service line specifically for this kind of problem... the best bet would be to contact them and have someone sit on the phone with you while you run through the steps to connect your Xbox. If this is not an option, try checking your internet options on your PC and make sure that a system link is available and active, then go through the Xbox again and turn the system link off and back on, this should reboot the connection process between your PC and Xbox and allow them to connect properly... all while connected to an active internet connection of course.

Hope this helps :)
