My acer eRecovery is missing
When a person buys a computer, and turns it on for the first time, you are repeatedly asked if you wish to make a Backup.
This is your Restoration (Recovery) disk
Did you make one?
No?
Then either contact Acer for the disk, or buy a fresh, new genuine copy of Windows, and install it.
When asked choose Repair. Non-Destructive Installation.
[Microsoft makes one Master disk. From it all GENUINE copies are made, and sold to the consumer]
Or see if a nearby computer repair shop can repair the basic Windows files.

[NO, I do not agree that the Recovery files are on the harddrive, and not a separate disk.
The reason however, that this method was brought into play, was because of users.
1) Lost the recovery disk.
2) Afraid to use the recovery disk, so they just take it down to a computer shop anyway.
Hmmm, I'm a pre-built computer manufacturer......................
Say the disk costs around 50 cents USD.
If I take that times 100,000 computers, I save $50,000 dollars.
Users don't use them anyway, I can save $50,000 dollars.........hey, whats the problem?
I'll just put it on the harddrive, and tell them to make a Backup disk.
NOW people aren't even making a Backup disk! Sheesh!
