Mine displayed out of range when i tried to go too high with the screen resolution. Totally flipping out like an untuned tv. Display properties of 1280x800 work best for me... though i wish i could go bigger without weird stretching of the view

Monitor says out of range

If you are connected to a started computer, the resolution of your display adapter is not supported by your monitor. To solve this, you must restart your PC in safe mode and change the display settings (right click on the desktop/Properties/settings tab and you must try for the begining with a lower resolution, for example 800x600).
To start the PC in safe mode you must press the F8 key (or check the key for your operating system) before the OS loading (imediately after the PC starts or after the reset/restart) and than select the safe mode VGA.
Good luck!

SOYO DYLM24E6 DISPLAYS OUT OF RANGE WAS TOLD MONITOR HAS A RESET BUTTON IF SO WHERE OR IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS MONITOR IT IS NEW

Restart your computer in Safe Mode
(or reconnect your previous monitor).

Set the screen-resolution to 800 by 600 at 60 Hertz.
Shutdown, connect the new monitor, and restart, and your Soyo monitor will be able to display something, using these "NOT-out-of-range" values.

Try changing the resolution to 1024-by-768, or 1280-by-1024,
and "test' these values, to see what values are "in-range" for your new monitor.

Does it make a difference in Safe mode? Its Possible that your monitor or vidio are out of range Safe mode (f8) on botting will boot with the bare system settings, if safe mode works then reduce the resalution, Color and Possibly the monitor refresh rate

Medion monitor shows analog out of range and will not turn on

Two options here. 1) Boot into safe mode, open control panel, display, settings, change the screen resolution to the lowest setting and color quality to their lowest setting and reboot. If that works move your setting up to where you used to have it (i.e. 800x600 pixels. Another option is to use System Restore to restore your system to an earlier date...a program you recently installed could be the culprit. System Restore is located at Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools.

I was adjusting picture on monitor and now picture completely messed up

  • Signal out of Range.
  • Out Of Scan Range
  • Horizontal frequency is out of range.
  • Cannot Display This Video Mode Out of Sync

This issue may occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video adapter setting for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.
you should reinstall your video drivers in safe mode.

To restart in safe mode repeatedly press the F8 key during the computer startup. This will bring a menu where you'll be able to choose safe mode.
