Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. D
.A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you.
Either blown subs, or bad amp.. Disconnect the subs, and try turning the amp on, if the amp is still in protect then your amp is bad, if the protect light goes off, then your subs are bad, or possibly wired at to low of an impedance, but I don't think that will trigger the protect on an Audiobahn amp.
alot of times its not just the amp that gives you better sounding bass.. A lot has a to do with a few other factors as well.. first off your subwoofer.. the bigger the subwoofer the deeper the bass. Some woofers exturde, or flex differently depending on the quality and structure of the woofer.. 2nd is gonna be the sub box. different size boxes will give your sub diff. depths of bass. ... general idea is the bigger the box deeper the bass. But if your woofer is not supplied enough power a big box is useless.
With that size amp your best bet is too run a single woofer. Probably a 10inch woofer would sound the best.. but it in.75cub inch. sealed box.. should sound great.
First thing is first. What subs do you have? Audiobahn makes several kinds of 12" subs. What model sub do you have?
Without knowing this, it would be hard to recomend an amp without knowing how much power your sub can handle. Audiobahn makes from very power amps that can put out up to 5000W RMS, but if your sub can not handle that power, then you will blow your sub.
the remote of amp. is not a ground it is a pos.+ 12 vlts look the back of your car stereo red the remote and conect to remote of the amp. if no sign remote of the car stereo conect to the 12 vlts of your bat.
