Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Error Message - PLEASE REBOOT PRINTER (116-330)

The error message on our Xerox Document Centre 235 Series is coming up "(PLEASE REBOOT PRINTER 119-330)" I can't seem to find what this error message means in the manual/s for this machine.
It is still photocoping, scanning and faxing the only thing we are unable to do is print from our PC's to the machine. This is a networked machine so there are a few of us that print to it from different computers.
Can you please let me know how to fix this problem and how to reboot the printer?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your quick response in regards to the error message that is appearing on our Xerox Document Centre 235 Series, unfortunately the 1800 number that you advised me to call has one digit too many so I can’t connect. Can you please let me know the correct phone number there should only be ten digits in total in the phone number.

    • we have a workcentre M24, my message is 116-330. First step was sending a job by the internetportal, the job was no prn-file for this maschine, seems it was a prn-file for an acrobat-file. After sending, all new print-jobs get canceled in the printer. In a service-call, we got advise to push the "4" +"energy-safe" + "stop", because of inefficacy, we got advice to push "3" +"energy-safe" + "stop". The procedur failed, the machine now totaly failed, with error message 116-330. Last advice: change of Mainboard und Harddik with cost of about 4.500 €.

Somewhere in the addressing there is an error.
You can call 1-800-821-2797 and ask for second level support. They can narrow down your problem.
116-XXX or 119_xxx codes normally have to do with addressing issues within the network.

The printer's firmware (controlling software) has mulfunctioned.
A common error message on the HP LaserJet P2055dn series is the B0605 Firmware Error. If you are handy with a computer, the first step is to follow HP's trouble-shooting steps and re-flash the firmware in BootCode mode, then reboot the printer. If this process does NOT fix your B0605 firmware error, you will probably need to replace the formatter assembly, which is the main logic board in the printer.

This is the error I get from GetLastError() after calling GetPrinter() to get the size needed to declare the PRINTER_INFO_2 structure:
An unexpected error occurred when executing the test.
Error Code = 124.
Error Message = The system call level is not correct.

My Xerox Document Centre 265ST just stopped working and a message: Copier is not available Printer Fault please call for assistance I cannot access tools or anything else.


turn it off completely unplug it. open up all doors and trays....turn it on with everything open if you still get the error you are going to have to call in a tech if it starts up . start closing things till you get to when that errror comes up then repost and ill look up an answer for you. i work for xerox
