Take the pump unions off the motor and look inside them at the tailpiece. You should see one black rubber o-ring inside each one. Make sure they are seated properly in the grove on the tailpiece and reinstall.
If they appear to be flattened on one side you may want to get some new # 0-49 o-rings and change them.
Once they are seated properly your pump unions will no longer leak water.

2001 996 turbo, slight coolant leak from the front of the motor,

to save money go rent a radiator pressure tester pump up the system to 12-15 lbs then take a light and search for a coolant leak check hose connections, water pump, radiator itself. if you are not comfortable looking for the leak call a buddy to help. you will also be able to locate the leak by looking all over the motor for a little yellow river that heads to the ground

Check to see if the water pump is leaking at the bearing. Check the hoses that connect to the water pump to see if there are any cracks or splits.

My power steering is leaking, i would like to know which hose its leaking from. I know the hose connects from the reservoir to the pump.

Do you mean that the hose that connects from the reservoir to the pump is leaking and you want to know the name of that hose??
If yes than that's called the Sucion hose.
The hose /with a partial metal line going out of the pump to the steering rack is the Pressure hose.
Hope this helps.

1999 Audi A4 Locking system not working.

This normally indicates that one of the pressure hoses has either popped off, or has a leak..the hoses run from the vac pump to the doors, with several T connections in between..Start at the pump and trace from there..Check for popped hoses at the T connections, the pump, and at each door lock actuator (inside each door)..Listen for hissing sounds when the pump is running, this indicates a leak.

Hayward pump has a steady water leak between pump and motor

Replace the machanical seal in the pump. It seals the shaft opening through the pump and is about a $5 - $10 part.

Washer leaking from undeneth

Most likely a leaking water pump. Remove the top lid from the washer. Then remove the front panel to access the water pump. The pump is attached to the front of the motor. Remove the pump support clips then remove the pump from the motor. If in question, set the machine to fill with water and look for a water leak at the pump. You can also inspect all other hoses and water connections with the panel removed.

Hello: I have a ge gsd5500 dishwasher. I want to remove the pump connect which is leaking. Key 455 This connects the pump to the main tub in the middle. How do you remove it? Thanks

Remove dishwasher from under the cabinet. Turn dishwasher on it's side. Loosen the clamp holding the motor/pump from the pump connect. Loosen the clamp holding the motor to the sump. Carefully remove the motor from the sump and pump connect. Turn the rubber connect counterclockwise several turns till it is disconnected from the bottom of the tub. Mine had a small crack right along the top. You needed to bend the connect to see it.

Whirlpool ultimate 2 model#lsw9750pw3 ser.ct1941128 leaking in front. appears to leak from a bow with 2 hose connected.

Your water pump is attached to the motor and is probably the source of your water leak.
Replace the pump.
Use the attached video to show how to access the cabinet and pump.

Leaking hot tub motor

hi! there,
well occassionaly leak on pumps this is due to the mechanical shaft seal has been worn out.If you can do fix your self
try to prepare tools to be used mostly set of socket wrench, set of open and closed wrench, pipe wrench one pair, screw driver flat and cross, switch off circuit breaker of pump motor, disconnect elctrical wiring of pump motor, disconnect pump pipe fitting usually on union service fiiting, if pump is free from fitting loosen bolt on pump motor base, pull out pump motor place on a particular working table, have a prepare box to place all bolt to be disconnected on pumps,we have to pull out motor from pumps housing assemblyd217218.jpg
have you seen hydro pump, the motor assembly was couple to pums assembly.thereare 4 long bolts connected holding motor to pump assembly at the back of motor loosen this to disengage
motor and pump assembly, try to put mark on motor back cover
for reference in putting back.if motor is disengage on pump assembly, of course the rotor of motor still connected on pump assembly.

the shaft seal is connected to the rotor shaft inside pumps assembly, there are 4 bolts holding pump casing front cover loosening this will appear the centrifugal blade connected to rotor shafting holiding by a big nut at tip of rotor shaft.loosen this by socket wrench try to find the size, then pull centrifugal blade with
the shaft seal, buy this one with same specification exact value of shaft seal,if there is mistake buying seal either leak again or to tight.shaft549ea12.jpgso this type is just sample to have idea, afterr you purchased put it back and reassemble the pump motor.thi is easy one, have a nice day don't forget to rate me. thank's
