Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Allright, this problem is a persistent little thing and it isn't only prone to the beginning.
The problem is that the system locks up, the display on the screen goes multi colored and everything simply stops. Once reached this phase, you may eject the CD, put it back in, unplug the video cable form either TV or console, plug it back in, unplug controler and put it back in... and nothing happens.
Turn off the console, turn it back on, start it via the button in the front.
Let's say that it loads and the default menu appears (has only happened twice, and I've turned it on and off several times) you can flip through the menus, all fine and dandy.
The minute you put in a game the above has a chance to occur, now and again it will not but eventually it will happen while you're playing the game.
So. No matter what you do the problem will come up, I am curious on how to go about fixing this doozey.
At first I thought that perhaps the system was over heating and thus the colors were going all woozy, but I'm uncertain and have been unable to figure out anything from the internet.
Sounds like your gpu is bad. hafta send it to sony to fix since they are only ones so far that know how.
