Compatability with Nokia 6120 Mobile Phone

Hi guys - I'm new here today! My phone work well in all ways except I have not been able to get 'data transfer' facility working - the 6120 phone is not on the compatability list but the (closely related) 6100 is, and I was hoping somehow that I might still be able to use the data transfer feature - does anyone know? Thanks ariel696

Its because your phone may be using the memory card as its storage for the messages. To fix this, go to messaging > Click OPTIONS on inbox > scroll down to settings > Scroll down to other > and go to memory in use > select phone memory. If it has already phone memory selected, try the memory card. When you connect to the computer, if it tries to access the segment in use by the phone, it will block it out.
Hope it works out for you ;)

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

ahh the notorious "sim not read" error message
well what you have is a is a faulty contact issue from the phones brass 8 or 10 pin points to the sim card pin contacts inside the phone itself and also too, your service provider has without your knowing it, from time to time have uploaded numerous software data updates to your phone, and often old sim cards, if not replaced occasionally, your sim card has a compatibility issue to the new data being sent to your phone. You basically need a new sim card. Usually and often if the phones has suffered a lot of abuse (from physically dropping to the ground and natural elements like tempertature, rain, exposure to cold and moisture, which is a big culpret) those brass contacts,located inside the phone, that are on the edge of the sim card (when you turn the sim over you see them) get particules in between the contacts causing the notorious "sim not read" or even the notorious " sim not found please insert sim".

Blackberry pearl - TomTom 920 compatibility

Greetings,
Looking into this I have found that they only blackberry firmware that is compatible with TomTom Plus services is 4.2.1.66 found here:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=1D72310EDC006DADF2190CAAD5802983

I scraped the rest off a forum and will paste it below. It seems to me that it is a lot of trouble for not a lot of payoff. Good Luck!
ou can still get the 4.2.1.66 version here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...190CAAD5802983
from Italy downloads but don't worry, it's Multilanguage. The Package Version is 4.2.1.102.

Install BlackBerry's Desktop Manager, I used version 4.3. Then remove the .bin (dot bin) from the 4.2.1.66 version you downloaded and run it letting it install itself. Then goto /Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader on the disk you installed the Desktop Manager on and rename vendor.xml to vendor.xml-save. If you don't do this the Desktop Manager will not offer to install the the 4.2.1.66 Italy version. (Unless probably you have an Italian provider.)

Then, you still have to do a manual setup of the phone in the TomTom setup.

1. Let the TomTom find the BlackBerry and Confirm connection to it.
2. Set it up as a trusted device on the BlackBerry.
3. Use TomTom services --> Yes
4. Country: United States
5. Select your Provider --> Other
6. Do you want to set up wireless data connection manually --> Yes
Access Point Name --> wap.voicestream.com
Username:
Password:
Obtain IP --> Automatic
Obtain DNS --> Automatic
Dial --> *99#
Login script --> at+cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.voicestream.com"
7. OK and it should connect!

Note: Attempting to use internet1.voicestream.com, internet2.voicestream.com, or internet3.voicestream.com as the TomTom attempts to do if you pick T-Mobile (I) thru (IV) did not work.

Since the first phone I tried was the T-Mobile Shadow I signed up for the Total Internet Plan, now that I have the BlackBerry I changed that to the BlackBerry Unlimited Plan but T-Mobile says it takes 2 to 48 hours to provision that so if this still works on Tuesday I'm good to go.

The trick to getting this working was to do a Factory Reset on the GO 720. Bingo. It worked. You still have to use wap.voicestream.com instead of internet2.voicestream.com (or any other number). So you can pick T-Mobile (I) and let it fail then choose to do a Manual setup changing the APN to wap.voicestream.com and accepting the default for the rest, or you can do a manual config from the get go and enter the APN, number to dial, and the connection string a.k.a. the Login Script on the TomTom.

And another thing, on the 8120 under Settings --> Advanced --> TCP the APN: value should be blank.

What is the most up to date list of verizon phones that can

Hi There,

List of Compatible Phones can be found here.
http://www.tomtom.com/phones/compatibility/devices.php
If you had your old voyager connect, make sure when you connect the new voyager, delete the phone on your tomtom in the manage phone option and delete the tomtom from the mobile in the bluetooth/paired devices option.
Then try again and get the tomtom to connect to your mobile.

Thanks,
Pabz

Connection problem between a nokia n95 8gb and zumo 550

I have recently purchased a Zumo 550 and successfully copied across selected phone book entries from a Nokia N95 without the need to use any additional apps:-

1) Assuming the N95 and Zumo are paired via BlueTooth
2) In N95 Contacts - use 'Mark' / 'Mark All' as necessary to select the contact entries you wish to transfer to the Zumo 550
3) In N95 Contacts - select 'Options' then 'Send Business Card' then 'Via Bluetooth'
4) Select the Zumo 550 device from the list of paired Bluetooth devices
5) Contact data is transferred from N95 phonebook to Zumo 550 phonebook

Interestingly, Garmin don't seem to list the Nokia N95 as being a supported device on their website, but the above process worked for me!!

It depends on the phone you are connected to. Some support it, some don't. In my experience Motorola Razr ext read but no write, sony k750i ead and write ok, nokia 6120 read and write ok. There is a table on the tomtom website that tells you what features work with each phone that it supports.
