I have a windows 7 laptop and I wish to use camera mate for it, but it is not compatible with windows 7. Is there a patch or driver I can download so that it will work?

This is a relatively old device. Creative no longer supports it. On their website, the last driver update was in Sept. 2007. This provided support for Windows VISTA. Now, VISTA drivers often worked under Windows 7. Some even worked under Windows 8. I am providing the link to the driver download so you can try it if you wish. You may be able to get it to load using Windows VISTA or Windows 7 compatibility mode if it won't install directly under Windows 10.
Hey everyone welcome aboard i have two programs that ive used thats helped me with the exception of the camera thats alittle more difficult. one is(driver talent) which is available now totally free trial till december 31st i think and it automatically picks up the drivers you need and gives you a free activation number.the second one is (driver booster) which is totally free at no cost but like all programs you can buy in and naturally it will do more .the trialversion of driver talent is (driver talent pro).the camera solution for me is to purchase an after market one that comes with everything and usually a one year warranty. and the cd.hope this helps.wolfmanjack

Hello. Most probably you need the driver for your card reader. If you give me the model number of your computer I can point you to the download link. Or also you can try fetching the driver from windows update within Windows 7.
The camera driver may not be compatible with Windows 7 since you upgraded the operating system. Go to the manufacturers website of your camera and download the driver for Windows 7.
Lenovo 3000 Y410 is not designed for windows 7, I don't think that Lenovo will make drivers for windows 7, you can try to install the Vista drivers. here is the link for 32 bit, they did not release any 64 bit drivers for this model. you can download and save the drivers to your computer then right click the installer then click properties, click the compatibility tab then select run this program in compatibility for Vista Service pack 2. If it still doesnt work you can try to run Windows update and hopefully microsoft have some patch for that.

Depending on the make and model of your computer and operating system, you'll need to disconnect the printer. Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until you're prompted to restart your computer.
Restart your computer.
Install the proper drivers. You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on)
If using Windows 7, install the Vista drivers in the compatibility mode. Vista 32-bit for Windows 7 32-bit and Vista 64-bit for Windows 7 64-bit.

once there, click the brand dropdown under option 2 (for example notebooks) , then click the family dropdown (for example Lenovo G530) then click continue.
From the list, click the desired software under camera option

click the camera driver which is compatible to the windows 7 OS then click I agree to the licensed aggrement then download the software.
Hi guys, I've solved this problem downloading driver for WB-3400T there is compatible with our WB-3100P and windows 7.. You need to download the driver for for item no. 14383 (without 02, 03 ecc) for vista 32 bit and this will be the driver also for windows 7 for our lovely webcam ;)
