Question about HP PhotoSmart C4180 All-in-One Color InkJet Photo Printer
I've only had my HP photosmart printer for about a year and the power failed. I did all possible troubleshooting and none worked. Is my printer basically done and needs to be replaced? Do I need to get it to the repair shop?
Try the steps mentioned in the link bellow:

Try connecting the All-In-One directly to different outlets without any surg protector.
Even if this does not work then try with a new Power cable and Power adaptor and check.
Good Luck

Thank you. Thank you. I tried your solution . . . simply reconnecting without a surge protector. . . and now my printer is back up and running. Much appreciation! Thank you! Sikha
